VS 500 Automatic screw capping machine Automatic capping module by screwing for the majority of caps and in particular spray caps or pump caps

The VS 500 electric screw capper is a highly efficient automatic capping module that incorporates an integrated screwer, making it the perfect solution for various types of caps, including spray or pump caps. Its versatility allows it to handle different formats with ease, and the crank height adjustment feature ensures optimal performance. This standalone module is designed to be a perfect fit for VSA, K-Lines S, K-Net Auto and other machines…

This automatic screw capper is designed to seamlessly integrate into complete filling lines, offering enhanced efficiency and productivity. However, it can also be utilized as a standalone machine outside a complete packaging system, providing flexibility in its application.

Equipped with a 1000mm conveyor, the VS 500 can achieve speeds of up to 25 products per minute, depending on the specific format requirements. This makes it suitable for a wide range of production demands.

The VS 500 is compatible with CDA’s automatic filling machines such as the K-Net Auto, a linear filling machine capable of handling up to 1 200 bottles per hour, and the K-Line S, a high-capacity linear filling machine with a capacity of up to 3000 litres per hour. It is also compatible with all of CDA’s automatic labelling machines.

FAQ: VS 500 Capping Module

1. What types of caps can be screwed on using CDA’s VS 500?

The VS 500 is a capping module suitable for pump caps, trigger spray caps and dispensing caps.

2. What types of products can be packaged using the VS 500?

The VS 500 meets the needs of a wide range of industries using different types of containers. It is particularly suitable for cosmetic products such as liquid soaps with pump dispensers, chemical products such as spray detergents, as well as food applications.

3. How does the VS 500 work?

The VS 500 screws caps into place using its belt-driven capping system. Containers move along the conveyor before passing beneath the capping module, which closes the caps with consistent pressure and repeatable results.

4. What is the capping speed of the VS 500?

CDA’s VS 500 can reach speeds of up to 25 products per minute, depending on the container format, type of cap used and production conditions.

5. Can the VS 500 be integrated into a complete packaging line?

Yes. The VS 500 is a capping module designed to be integrated into a machine (such as the K-Net Auto or E-Fill) or a complete packaging line. This module cannot operate independently.

6. Is the height of the VS 500 adjustable?

Yes. The VS 500 features a height adjustment system operated by a hand crank, making it easy to adapt the machine to different container formats. This feature facilitates product changes and provides greater production flexibility.

7. What are the advantages of belt-driven capping?

The belt-driven capping system provides consistent and reliable closure while limiting variations associated with manual handling.

8. What is the difference between the VS 500 and a semi-automatic capping machine?

A semi-automatic capping machine requires an operator to position the containers beneath the capping system and initiate the cycle. The VS 500 automates this stage using its conveyor and detection sensors, which automatically trigger the capping cycle.

In addition, a semi-automatic machine can operate independently, whereas the VS 500 must be integrated into another machine, such as a filling, capping or labelling machine. It is therefore an optional module rather than a standalone machine.

9. Why choose CDA’s VS 500 automatic capping machine?

The VS 500 combines versatility, ease of use and performance. Thanks to its compatibility with different types of caps and its quick adjustment system, it provides an ideal solution for a wide range of companies.
