Labellers and crimpers for the wine & spirits sector

Even though the packaging needs of winegrowers and distillers are similar, there are also many special features to consider when choosing an automatic and semi-automatic labelling or sealing machine. CDA has understood these needs by dedicating part of its range to the labelling and crimping of still or sparkling wine bottles. Small estate, trading house and cooperative cellar will find at CDA the packaging know-how adapted to their activity.

Self-adhesive labelling machines for wine and spirits bottles

As a French manufacturer of semi-automatic and automatic labellers and crimpers, CDA has constantly supported the winegrowers’ projects, no matter the size of the bottle, their region (Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Alsace, Côte du Rhône, Clavelin, Champagne) and the capacity (Bottle 0.75 cl and 1 litre, Magnum, Double Magnum, Jeroboam, Imperial etc.)

Wine industry being the company’s historical sector, CDA has more than 4000 customers in the wine industry and offers machines perfectly adapted to the needs of this sector: the labelling and setting of still and sparkling wine bottles.

Our wide range of machines allows us to find THE solution to the packaging needs of each winegrower. Each CDA labeller and crimper meets two demanding criteria: precision of application and excellent quality/price ratio.

CDA semi-automatic labelling machines for wine bottles

Precise application of a single self-adhesive label or more on your bottles of wine or other spirits / alcohol products (Rum, Pastis, Armagnac, Cognac, Gin, Vodka, Wisky, etc.). Each CDA semi-automatic labeller guarantees you precise and fast dispensing (up to 1000 bottles per hour) of your small productions. It can be adapted to all cylindrical formats and all capacities (wine bottles 50 cl, 75 cl, 1 litre, 1.5 litres, magnum).

CDA's response to the sector's challenges

The very ancient history of the vine is turbulent, although wine is a precious and inseparable component of French culinary art and good living. CDA has always kept in mind the importance of this sector, which was at the heart of its creation and establishment: in Narbonne, surrounded by many vineyards. The needs and expectations of the sector are therefore in the DNA of our machines; which, at first, were essentially and exclusively dedicated to the labelling and crimping of wine bottles.

Although many specific features are common among our winegrower customers, CDA has been able to adapt to the requirements of the different wine producing regions (shape of bottles, labels, application of caps or capsules, etc.). Today, CDA is proud to support many wineries, trading houses and cooperative cellars with simple, effective solutions that are perfectly adapted to the packaging needs of this sector.

Small Domains

In order to meet the expectations of small domain (10,000 bottles/year), CDA has designed a range of semi-automatic labelling machines to cover your wine bottles from one to two labels with speeds of up to 1000 bottles/hour.

Cooperative cellars or Domains

Cooperative wineries or Domains with larger productions (up to 150,000 bottles/year) can rely on our range of automatic machines that label and crimp still and sparkling wine bottles. Several machine models have been designed to meet the desired speed and packaging as accurately as possible.

Large Domains or Trading Houses

For trading houses and large domains with even higher production capacities (up to 1,000,000 bottles/year), CDA has designed a range of automatic machines that correspond to higher production rates. However, these machines meet the requirements imposed by CDA's design office: efficiency, simplicity and reliability.
