At CDA, ‘Made in France’ is much more than just a label – it’s a core value that has guided our approach since we started out in 1991. We are proud to contribute to the excellence of French industry and to promote French know-how through our packaging machines.
While our main competitors are in Italy and Germany, we strive to offer French companies a local alternative, with an emphasis on proximity and quality of service. We understand how important it is for companies to work with partners who are geographically close, as this facilitates communication, understanding of specific needs and optimum responsiveness.
By choosing CDA, French companies benefit from a local manufacturer who can respond quickly to their requests and provide a local after-sales service. Our team of field technicians is on hand to commission equipment, provide comprehensive user training and ensure effective maintenance throughout the life of the machines.
This local presence also enables us to better understand the specifics of the French market and adapt our products accordingly, guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
French quality: a pledge of confidence
Our filling, screwing and labelling machines are designed and manufactured in our workshops based in Narbonne, in the Occitanie region of France. We make it a point of honour to select high-quality materials from French suppliers renowned for their reliability and performance. By choosing “Made in France”, we guarantee our customers robust, durable equipment that complies with the most demanding standards.
At CDA, we are driven by a passion for innovation. Our teams of engineers, project managers and technicians use their know-how to design versatile, high-performance machines tailored to the specific needs of our customers.
We attach the utmost importance to the quality and control of our products. That’s why we have chosen to manufacture many of the parts that make up our machines in-house. To do this, we rely on our specialist machining and sheet metal work company, CDU. This subsidiary specialises in the transformation of materials (sheet metal, bars, etc.) into parts using processes such as bending, cutting, welding, turning, etc.
This vertical integration enables us to ensure rigorous quality control at every stage of the manufacturing process, guaranteeing reliable, high-performance products that comply with the most demanding standards. By investing in our own production capacity, we ensure that our machines are precisely designed to offer our customers equipment that is at the cutting edge of innovation and perfectly suited to their needs.
A Local and Responsible Partnership
By giving priority to the “Made in France”, we are strengthening our commitment to the local economy. We work with a number of French suppliers, including Arcelor and Sunclear, which supply our raw materials (stainless steel and glass), Télémécanique and Shneider Electric, which supply various electrical components, and Norelem for our mechanical components. This approach allows us to reduce our environmental footprint by minimising transport distances and promoting proximity with our suppliers.
Global reach
We are also proud of our international presence. Since 2012, we have had a subsidiary in the United States, CDA USA, located in Richmond, Virginia. This local presence allows us to better serve our American customers by offering them a local service and expertise tailored to their specific needs.
Similarly, in 2017 we created CDA Deutschland, a subsidiary in Germany, based in Leun near Frankfurt. This local presence strengthens our position in the German market and enables us to develop strategic partnerships with our German customers and suppliers.
We also have an export sales team and resellers who play an essential role in our international development. These qualified and experienced teams are responsible for managing sales in various regions of the world, including Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Thanks to their in-depth expertise of foreign markets, they identify new opportunities and establish solid relationships with potential and existing customers.
These subsidiaries testify to our determination to pursue our international development while maintaining our values of quality, innovation and proximity.
At CDA, “Made in France” is much more than just a label; it is a source of pride and a guarantee of quality for our customers. We will continue to work with passion and commitment to fly the flag for French industry through our packaging solutions.
